Dollar Dynasty held its Annual Recognition Fundraiser Luncheon on Saturday, April 2, 2016. Dollar dynasty is a community outreach center located on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
The Recognition Luncheon took place at Palm Aire Country Club, 5601 Country Club Way from 11:30-2:30. Speaker for the event was Carol M. Poteat-Buchanan, well known in our area for juggling many hats . Ms. Buchanan is the co-chair of Embracing Our Differences, vice president and manager of the Gulf Coast Community Choir and a member of the board of both Florida Studio Theatre and Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida.
“We are so grateful for our sponsors and supporters,” says Dollar Dynasty founder, Victoria Brown. The mistress of ceremony for the Luncheon was Sheila Atkins, Booker Middle School Ensemble provided the entertainment conducted by Gregory Nielson.
Several awards were presented during the event, notably the Corporate Service Award to George Alberici, CEO of Jackson Hewitt Tax Preparation; the Professional Service award to C Stephen Wicker CPA; and the Community Service Award to Gary Yakes of St. Armand’s Lutheran Church . ”
