Derrek T. Gunnells, II, is a 2016 graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with consecration in Advertising and the Business of Art & Design. He is a native of Sarasota and has been involved with Greatness Beyond Measure, Inc., Trinity Christian Fellowship and Ringling College ArtNetwork. Prior to graduation, Derrek accepted a position, as an Associate Producer at Hasbro, Inc. and now resides in Providence, Rhode Island. According to Derrek’s mother, Melanie Thomas, Derrek is an extremely skilled, brilliant and creative designer and producer. Although he is just beginning his career, he is already an award - winning producer with three major industry awards to his credit; two Addy Awards from AdFed Suncoast and a Telly Award.

Kayla Corbert is a Sarasota native who excels in academia. She recently graduated in the top 4% of Braden River High School and is also part of Florida’s Talented 20 Program which rewards students for being in the top 20 percent of all high school graduates, statewide. Over the years, Kayla has developed an enormous love for art and creative writing. As a result, she plans to attend Ringling College of Art and Design in the fall and major in Illustration and Creative Writing. Kayla is a member of Trinity Christian Fellowship, Greatness Beyond Measure, Inc. and Youth United For Success.

Jachairyn Corbertis a recent graduate of Braden River High School. His plans are to pursue a career in Nursing at the state College of Florida. Jachairyn is also an amazing dancer and performer and has been in several theatrical productions with the Westcoast Black Theater Troupe. He is a Sarasota native and a member of Trinity Christian Fellowship, Greatness Beyond Measure, Inc. and Youth United For Success.

Breyonna Reed is 17 years old and a graduate of Southeast High School. She was a member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Youth Minority Leader. She maintained a 3.5 GPA throughout of high school career and received numerous athletic honors. Breyonna was a starter on Southeast High’s 2014 State Championship team. Her athletic honors include 2015 First Team

All State selection, Top 50 Elite Seniors, Class 5A-MVP (two seasons) and the state’s leader in assists in 2015. She recently had her #5 jersey retired at Southeast and is the latest member of the Southeast Hall of Fame. She is a also member of The Glorious Holiness Church of Christ in Sarasota. Breyonna will be attending Webber University and major in Criminology. She wants to become a member of the FBI as a Forensic Scientist. She is the daughter of Bryan Reed and Katrina Young, and will be attending Webber University and major in Criminology. She wants to work with the FBI as a Forensic Scientist.
