Students attending Bibbins’ Tae Kwon Do Summer Camp in Palmetto are light years ahead of most that will start back to school on August 10 because these Summer Campers are moving, learning and staying fit while having the experience of summer fun at its maximum. Owner and Founder, Master Terry Bibbins structures summer camp to insure all students have fun while moving and learning based on the principle; bodies in motion tend to stay in motion and with that movement comes well-being, healthier life and eating habits leading students being ready to start school with an active mind and body. The Summer Camp is centered on the training of Tae Kwon Do, physical fitness as well as fun activities and field trips. This year field trips include bowling, swimming and roller skating each week. Students grow in agility, strength and endurance as well learning the fundamentals in action of good team work at all ages.
Master Bibbins said this is the fourth year of the summer camp and numbers and enrollment has been high with several groups of siblings from a family attending the camp. Parents stated the ability to enroll all their children in one program was a huge perk of the summer camp as siblings are in one group and are together for activities, encouraging family time and closeness, allowing them to spend the summer together while parents work.
Master Bibbins has opened registration for the After-School Program enrollment now inconsideration o f the much earlier start of school this year on August 10th. Bibbins said this will allow parents the opportunity to be prepared when school starts. Bibbins After-School Program includes After-School Pick-up at schools in Palmetto area and tuition including Tae Kwon Do training and supervision. Master Bibbins said the structure of Bibbins Academy is dedicated to the whole child and youth’s growth, mentally, physical and socially. Master Bibbins leads and teaches by example supported by his vast number of years and accomplishments in the Martial Arts World.
